Scientific research in the Vandepoele lab is centred at the intersection of plant biotechnology and bioinformatics. We are a diverse and multi-disciplinary team comprising early- and senior-career scientists trained in plant biology, genomics, and (bio)informatics. Through the development and application of complementary techniques, including -omics data integration, network biology, and more recently also machine learning, we are at the forefront of plant genomics research.
